Live Music

I have recently joined Sofar Sounds.  For those of you that don’t know, it’s a company that arrange live music events in London and basically around the world, 280 cities to be exact.  My friend in Los Angeles clued me up to this one.  She went to an event and thought it was amazing. I have only been to two events so far and both were for free as you are able to get free codes from them when you join and when you share with friends. So basically 3 acts perform that night. The venue and performances change every night and are secret until one day before.  The venue could be in someone’s living room, or in a Town Hall or even a vacant office block. You can even apply for tickets and if you ‘win’ them they only ask for a min of £5 towards the cost.  So pretty good really. You can attend, host or even perform through them.

You can check it out or join via this link (also bag yourself some free tickets)
Here is a link to a video that Sofarsounds recorded on one of the nights I went to. It’s a band from Brighton called Frankie Furlow.  Check it out!
