Theatre Trip

Hello everyone.

Anyone who knows me will know that I am a huge ballet lover with Giselle being one of my absolute favourites. I came across this ballet at a very young age watching the wonderful Margot Fonteyn dance on the television . I guess it’s one of those images that stuck with me forever. She was beautiful and elegant so I did ballet from the age of 4 and eventually did my exams at the Royal Acadmedy of Dancing. However, I was clearly not really the right build for ballet and when it came to points I chickened out. I knew a ballet dancer and her feet were in a terrible state so I chose not to continue but to move into modern dance which I really enjoyed. So you could say that I always enjoyed dancing no matter what and enjoy watching ballets whenever I can.

I remember once having a job where the chairman’s PA took me to watch a full dress rehearsal at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. The chairman had his own box there and was a major supported of the Arts. Gone are those days. *sad face*

So imagine my utter excitement when I came across this great deal from Get into London Theatre.

They were offering tickets at amazing prices starting from £10.  I didn’t want to sit too high up so bought the £20 tickets for my daughter and I. Very happy with our view and the show was abosolutely stunning.

The London Coliseum is such a beautiful Venue too. Can’t believe I’ve never been before.

These deals are right across the board and for most of the show at the West End. I must admit that going to the theatre in London proves extremely expensive so finding something like this was very welcoming.

Hope you find your perfect show to visit too.
